Are there any prerequisites?
For all company officer classes you must meet the following prior to the start of class: the educational requirements of Fire Fighter II or or four (4) years as a career fire fighter, or six (6) years as a volunteer fire fighter. For 2D, you must also complete the following prior to class: ICS-200B and Hazardous Material Incident Commander. For 2E, you must also complete All Risk Command Operations for Company Officers and S-290 Intermediate Fire Behavior

Is this class approved through the State Fire Training?
Yes, this class is certified by State Fire Training.

What do I need for class?
A functioning laptop is required for class. Additional textbooks may be required for class.

Why should I take the classes here?
We strongly encourage you to explore your options and select classes that fit your schedule the best. You do not have to take every class at the same location. You could take 2A with us and 2B somewhere else. We are confident in the training we provide. We engage with our students before, during, and after class to ensure they feel supported.
