Instructor 3: Instructional Program Management

Fire Instructor 3 prepares experienced fire service instructors to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs and curricula in a safe, effective, and professional manner.

This course focuses on equipping firefighters with the knowledge and skills needed to design and manage complete instructional programs for single or multiple organizations. Participants will learn to conduct organizational needs assessments, establish training goals, and develop effective implementation and evaluation strategies.

Fire Instructor 3 is based on NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications (2012) and meets the requirements for State Fire Training Instructor 3 Certification, with an emphasis on Instructional Program Management.
